OpenVPN official client or other third-party OpenVPN clients usually require the use of OVPN file to allow for easy configuration and setup. Due to the complexities involved, WeVPN has created a Config Generator which allows for the quick and easy generation of OVPN files which can be downloaded.

Here is how you can easily generate an OVPN file:

1. Visit the Members Area on the WeVPN website. Choose protocol (Open vpn UDP/TCP) and Select WE Block option according to your requirement.



2. Select your Server location and proceed to next page.

3. Devices that utilize should select v2.4+ for enhanced security including AES-GCM and tls-crypt. Select your port and Generate config to use.

3b. Devices that do not support OpenVPN v2.4 will need to select v2.3 or lower. Devices include:

• Synology NAS                        

4. Your manual configurations has different credentials to use. Click on show credentials  >> copy and paste when promoted to login.
